OBP will work with you to produce any image-driven book you have in mind. We often work with home owners, designers and architects to produce coffee-table style books on specific homes, hotels or designs. Other ideas include:

Does OBP produce digitalbooks?
Yes, we produce digital books. Although OBP specializes in the production of tradtional books with professioally commissioned content, once we have the content and the design in hand we can easily transfer paper to digital format suited to any type of reader (iPad, Kindle, website, ect.)

Does OBP produce cookbooks?
Yes. OBP has a strong background in food and travel writing and will collaborate with individuals or restaurants to produce cookbooks. We work with talented, experienced food writers who can work up and test your recipes, as well as photographers who specialize in food and lifestyle photography.

How long does it take to publish a book with OBP?
Each project is unique and timing depends on many factors. After an initial discussion with you, we can let you know how long it will take to produce the content and design for your book.

What is the quality of the printing?
OBP works with a variety of printers to be able to offer different levels of quality to suit your budget. We collaborate with firms that use everything from the highest premium papers and bindings to companies that produce light weight magazine quality print outs.

How do you choose a photographer?
OBP draws on almost two decades of collaboration with some of the best photographers in publishing. We work with photographers who have published in World of Interiors, Architectural Digest, Martha Stewart Living, Food & Wine and Travel & Leisure. They have published books with companies including Rizzoli, Abrams, Chronicle, Harcourt Brace and Artisan. We will find the best photographer available that specializes in your topic.

How do you choose a writer?
OBP collaborates with a wide range of professional writers all over the world. Our writers regularly contribute to publications such as The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Art & Antiques, Travel & Leisure and Food & Wine. Most have written several books published by publishing houses such as Rizzoli, Chronicle, Artisan and others.

Do I get to approve the book before it is printed?
Yes, we will send you a set of digital galleys so that you can approve the content before we send it to the printers.

How much does a book cost to produce?
Each project is unique and we will provide you with a detailed estimate after we have had a chance to talk to you. Overall costs depend on the number of photographs, length of text and number of pages.

Can I sell my book on the internet?
Yes, we can help you market your book so that it is for sale on the internet, through sites such as Amazon, or through your own web site.

How many copies of my book will be printed?
One Book Press is called that for a reason. We believe that you should only pay for the amount of books that you need. Our fee is to produce your book. Included in that fee you will receive one copy of the finished book. Then, feel free to order as many – or as few – additional copies as you would like. It’s up to you, your clients, your customers or your fans!
